A 22,000 sq. ft. reception and community conference facility, Hazelton Manor accommodates onwards of 700 people for private functions featuring two state of the art ballrooms. The landscape architecture is integral to the built form connecting the mezzanine to accessible exterior seating areas that link to the lower porte cochere and parking facilities via ramps, terraced stairs and planters. Surrounding the architectural are tranquil gathering spaces and colourful gardens for guest photo opportunities.

msla's role: To provide full landscape architecture concept development and master planning for municipal rezoning and OPA thru to final site plan approval. Duties included Liaison and negotiation with city staff, contract tendering, and construction documentation to ensure the construction and finished details met the design intent.
